Can anyone go to UF library? ›

Visitors have access to books, journals, government documents and more during general public visiting hours. Consider becoming a Special Borrower to check-out library resources.

Library West primarily serves the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Journalism and Communications, and the Warrington College of Business Administration. It is the largest of the seven Smathers Libraries at UF.

*The General Public and alum must submit an application and fee (by check or money order only) to receive library privileges. Click on the respective affiliation type in the chart to view and submit the online application. To renew borrowing privileges, resubmit the application.

The University Libraries at Florida State University welcomes visitors and researchers. Any person may visit the libraries and use print materials, licensed databases, government documents, and the FSU Library Catalog on-site.

Members of the general public and other non-FIU patrons may have access to online licensed databases while on-site and visiting the Green Library (MMC) and the Hubert Library (BBC).

The Library is located in the historic district of DeFuniak Springs and has the distinction of being the oldest continuously operated library in the state of Florida.

Alumni of the University of Florida are eligible to join the recreation and fitness centers by paying the appropriate fees and by obtaining a Gator 1 Card. Alumni must purchase a membership to participate in Intramural Sports.

The FAU Libraries are also not a part of a national public library system. Guests and the general public are welcome to enter our buildings, access most library materials, and use our available services during regular library hours.

Anyone can use the library, and visitors are welcome. Students, alumni, faculty, staff, community members, and visitors can use most resources while in the building.

The UCF Libraries welcomes guest patrons by giving access to Library Public PCs, as well as the ability to Print, Copy, & Scan. Guests may obtain the Daily Guest Password from Library Service Desks.

You can use U of T books in the library, but if you want to take them out, you'll need a library card. Graduate students, faculty members and staff from other Canadian universities are eligible for a Direct Borrower card and all other researchers can apply for a Research Reader card.
