We are honored that you’ve chosen to enroll your child in Columbus City Schools (CCS). CCS has high-quality schools and programs to meet every child’s needs. Our Speedy Pass Online Registration tool makes it easier than ever to enroll your student with CCS. Please ensure that allNecessary Documents are uploaded to your Online Registration to prevent delay in processing.

To the left youcan find the school assigned to your address by clicking on Find Your School.Also to the left, you will find pages with additional information to guide you through enrolling your student, as well as other process related to moving and learning within our district.

Students must be 5 years old by September 30th to enroll in kindergarten. Students who are not old enough for kindergarten, but are 4 by September 30th are eligible for Pre-K. If your child is not old enough for kindergarten, and you believe that they are academically and socially ready, please visit the Gifted and Talented website for information about the Early Entrance Testing.

Pre-K students must be 4 years old by September 30^th. If your child will be 5 years old by September 30^th he/she is not eligible for Pre-K but is eligible for Kindergarten.

3. Complete Online Registration (OLR)/Speedy Pass

• It is imperative that you upload the Necessary Enrollment Documents. Improper documentation will delay the processing of the Online Registration/Enrollment Application.

4. An Enrollment Specialist will review the OLR and process the enrollment, provided all Necessary Enrollment Documents have been uploaded.

5. The Enrollment Specialist will email/call the parent/guardian with the school of enrollment, start date and Parent Portal set up information.

6. The parent/guardian will then set up the Parent Portal.

• The Parent Portal will allow you to view your student's data (such as grades, attendance, schedules...), pay fees, apply for a Pre-K placement or the School Choice Lottery (K-12) and much, much more.

**It is important to note, that if you are planning to submit a lottery application, the Online Registration must be submitted with all necessary documents by February 22nd for Middle/High School and by March 22nd for Elementary School. This will ensure that you have the Parent Portal activation code by the lottery deadline.
