I’ve been going through the recovery process for months now! I know my email and password.. it’s the trash authentication part that I tried to remove prior to being logged out. I have not attempted to log in LIKE THEY ASKED during this recovery process. This has been going on since May 2024. I waited all the time and never received a code to my current number. I recently bought a iMac so that I could download apps that I’ve purchased using that iCloud. At this point, I just want to be reimbursed for all my money from in app purchases and go to an android. It’s a huge waste of time. This needs to be changed asap . Maybe they should require identification card. My email is an iCloud email so that’s out of the window. My phone number doesn’t belong to me anymore. I’ve typed in my debt card information and that’s still not good enough !! I’m not going to stop spamming this until I get my $ back or I get my account back

Most of what I am getting from you is a somewhat confusing melange of frustration, The only people your are going to keep on spamming here are other users like yourself. Apple does not monitor this forum for complaints and threats of spamming. If you start spamming you'll get even more frustrated because such posts are removed. This is not the place to send feedback to Apple. Send them here --> Product Feedback - Apple
You provide a long laundry list of partial description of issues. I have no idea where to start. Account recovery is something you initiate when you cannot log in or provide the security verification code. I don't know what "trash authentication" is. If you mean your opinion of two factor authentication, you cannot disable that unless you have an older account and you do it as outlined in Two-factor authentication for Apple Account - Apple Support For two factor, Apple sends a code to your trusted devices or trusted numbers. It is probably going to the number which you do not have anymore and you did not set up a new number to now get a code at that number. That's why you have to go through account recovery --> How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple Account password - Apple Support The post by shoeluvr13 at this link provides additional detail about the account recovery process: Activation Lockout Issues - Apple Community . This thread illustrates the multi-step process My Apple ID is locked, how do I fix it? - Apple Community
So now I suggest you contact Apple itself. --> Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

Thank you for assuming. I know the correct steps. You chose to discuss my frustration before knowing what the true issue was. Pointless. I am not making “threats” 🤡 I want people to be aware of what to expect with an Apple product. However, their experience could be much better than what I’m receiving. The code never came to my new phone #. If you keep trying to log on to the device while in recovery mode, it can possibly start the time over or be postponed. I am very aware. My issue is there is an error every single time to where the time starts over. I literally woke up at 4 am my time (the same hour I was suppose to receive a code) just for me to log on and it say 23 days again. So if you can read, I clearly stated how I tried removing authentication PRIOR to being logged out. I went to Apple multiple times for them to try it as well. Also, just to be told “You might have to start over.”
